317 – bike route Medulinka

Today, the modern tourist centre of Medulin, chosen by many as the perfect holiday destination, can be toured around by bike along the well-maintained bike trail Medulinka. Everything in Medulin is focused on tourism and your dream holiday. So let’s take the Medulinka trail, which starts and finishes on the beautiful Medulin waterfront. You will ride past hotels with excellent accommodation and reach the Medulin pond. It is a natural oasis in the centre of the town with many geese, ducks and various birds. If you go further, you will see the bell towers of the Parish Church of St. Agnes on your left, and eventually reach the Church of St. Peter on Barbolan, whose history dates back to pre-Romanesque times. Continue toward Medulin and your starting point. We suggest you take a slight detour and visit Archaeological Park Vižula. The Vižula peninsula is a place of rich millennium-long history. Traces of Roman civilization will be all around you – on land and in the sea. After deviating from the trail for a moment, you return to your destination on the Medulin waterfront. The Medulin waterfront is a place for socializing and gatherings, where numerous events are held in the evening, especially in the summer. From the waterfront, you’ll see yet another Medulin attraction – the popular windmill Malin.
